PageRank is Google’s scheme for grading web pages. A page with a greater PageRank is viewed as more significant and is more likely to be recorded above a page with a lower PageRank.
Google conducts “elections” in which each web page casts votes for web pages with links to those pages. But contrary to a majority rule a page can have more than one vote and links from pages with top PageRank are given more weight (according to their grading) and thus help to improve the target area's PageRank.Try it here pagerank
